Sercel’s Sentinel MS is an industrial system used for seismic analysis, employing sophisticated multi-sensor technology. To showcase the technology’s strengths, ACD designed a scanner that allows it to be explored via a rotating sensor module. The motorized, computer-controlled moving component displays a synchronized 3D view of the Sentinel MS on two side monitors, enabling the public to grasp its internal complexity. The scanner itself is housed within a larger display setup consisting of two support units featuring tablets that allow visitors to freely browse media content. The Sentinel MS scanner was showcased in 2013 at the two most important geophysics events: the EAGE exhibition in London and the SEG exhibition in Houston.
