Berlin fashion guide

*Berlin Fashion Guide* was born of a dual ambition: to introduce Asia to the German capital’s rising generation of designers, while creating a book that serves as an alluring object—one that engages in a graphic dialogue with its subject matter. The 2000s provided ideal conditions in Berlin for the emergence of a generation of designers exploring original themes. The city was rapidly developing, quickly becoming Europe’s musical and artistic capital. Over the course of several months, the author immersed himself in this world—meeting numerous figures and exploring a scene that had only just stepped out of the underground—to craft a synthesis that is as fresh as it is original. As both author and graphic designer, Kuei Yu Ho transforms this reportage into a visual meditation on emerging aesthetics.
