Terzetto

The “Poems 100” exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Taipei showcases the work of 100 contemporary Taiwanese poets. Conceived to accompany this event, *Terzetto* is an immersive creation comprising two installations linked by a shared visual and audio space. *Terzetto 1* presents a modern cityscape filmed over 24 hours and sliced into vertical strips. As viewers move along the artwork, they alter the temporality of each fragment, triggering temporal desynchronizations that ripple through the space. When the landscape recomposes itself around a specific moment, a poem dedicated to that time of day appears as an overlay. *Terzetto 2* features a swarm of Chinese characters, each possessing a life of its own. Open hands appear on the screen, inviting viewer interaction; by placing their own hand over one of these displayed hands, the viewer activates an energy that assembles the disparate characters into ephemeral poems.
