No man's land
Located in the international zone of Taoyuan Airport, *No Man’s Land* features a display case where three stylized masks interact with travelers moving near the artwork. These artificial entities are the only ones permitted to inhabit “No Man’s Land”—a space set apart from the everyday world, dedicated to the transit of travelers. With its sleek design, the installation relies on a complex technical system required to animate the three faces, which are crafted from rubber and white ceramic.
